We do not see, store, or upload your data. Everything happens in your browser. When you "upload" a file to CSVTools.org, it never leaves your computer. The processing is done by JavaScript running on your device.
1. Data Collection & Processing
Unlike traditional web tools that require you to upload files to a remote server for processing, CSVTools.org is built as a Client-Side Application.
- No File Uploads: Your CSV files are processed exclusively within your web browser's memory.
- No Server Storage: We do not have a database to store your CSV content.
- No Logs: Since we don't process your data, we cannot log or view your file contents.
2. Analytics
We may use standard, privacy-friendly website analytics (like Google Analytics or similar) to track aggregate usage statistics. This includes:
- Page views and visit duration.
- Browser type and device type.
- Referring websites.
Analytics tools do NOT have access to the contents of the files you process.
3. External Libraries
We use trusted open-source libraries to power our tools. These are loaded from reputable CDNs (Content Delivery Networks):
- PapaParse: For parsing CSV data.
- Tailwind CSS: For website styling.
- JSZip & FileSaver: For generating download files.
